The unique and patented CleanAcids range is designed for the purification of small volumes of ultra-high purity acids and reagents for ultra-trace analysis.
Purifying small quantities of these reagents immediately before analysis avoids the risk of contamination during storage.
Acids and reagents are purified in a totally closed vessel without introduction of any external gas flow to transport the vapour to the condensing device.
CleanAcids has already been used to purify many acids including HCl, HNO3, HBr, HF, HClO4, NH4OH, H2O2.
The purification vessels used with CleanAcids are made of PFA and are designed to purify volumes from as little as 25ml, and can be removed independently of each other during purification. The transfer elbows are made of virgin PTFE.
This model allows for the simultaneous handling/purification of up to 3 acids up to 125ml each using 3 PTFE distillation elbows and 6 PFA bottles. The PTFE distillation elbows and PFA bottles are not included with the CleanAcids device and are sold separately. The CleanAcids - 3 x 125ml model requires 3 of the 125ml Vessel Kits.
Note: A separate controller is required to operate CleanAcids and this is available in 2 configurations.
